Skategame development: faking 3D ~ If you’re working in a 2D game engine or graphics program, then you’ll often have to use tricks to make objects look 3D. This GIF is the forearm of my robot character, and shows how having a set of pre-rendered images and rotating them in the right way can do a reasonable job of making it look three dimensional. I’m building the whole character using variations of this method.
